Dewray Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These terms set out your rights and obligations, and the developer's, when you use Dewray ("the app").

2. The service

  1. The app lets you record when you wake up and collect stars, rays and dew the earlier you rise, which you use to raise a character and decorate its room. It also includes a wake-up alarm, wake-up check-ins and bedtime check-ins.
  2. No sign-up or login is required.
  3. Your records are stored on your device by default. Some information is stored on a server only if you use the "neighborhood" feature with friends (Privacy Policy, section 3).

3. Fees and in-app purchases

  1. The app is free to download and use.
  2. Inside the app you can buy ray packs (400, 1,200 or 3,000 rays) and the Supporter Pack (the Dawn Lantern plus 1,500 rays), which are used for decorating. Prices are shown on each store's purchase screen.
  3. Payments are processed by Google Play or the App Store. The developer does not receive your card number or other payment details.
  4. Stars and dew are not for sale. Items that require an evolution stage can only be bought once you reach that stage, no matter how many rays you have.
  5. Rays can only be used inside the app. They cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to anyone else.
  6. Refunds follow the refund policy of the store you paid through (Google Play or the App Store). Rays and items received from a refunded purchase may be taken back.
  7. Rays from ray packs are stored on your device and are lost if you delete the app. The Supporter Pack can be restored on the same store account with "Restore purchases".

4. Your responsibilities

  1. Don't rely on the alarm alone — use another method as well for important appointments.
  2. Device settings (power saving, Do Not Disturb, blocked notifications) or manufacturer battery optimization can stop an alarm from ringing. The developer is not responsible for outcomes caused by such device or operating-system behavior.
  3. Your nickname is visible to your neighbors. Don't use a nickname that is offensive or infringes anyone's rights.
  4. Share your neighborhood code only with the people you want to join. The developer is not responsible for what happens if a code is shared widely.

5. Storage and loss of data

  1. Records are stored on your device, and the developer keeps no copy. Information shared with a neighborhood is covered by section 3 of the Privacy Policy.
  2. If you use your device's backup (Google backup on Android, iCloud backup on iPhone), your records may be included in it. That backup is kept by Google or Apple in your account, and the developer cannot see it.
  3. Records may be lost if you delete the app, reset your device, or lose or break it, and the developer cannot restore them.

6. Intellectual property

All rights to the app's design, pixel art, characters, music and sound effects, and text belong to the developer.

7. Changes and discontinuation

The developer may change the app's features or stop providing the app. If the app is discontinued, you will be told in advance through an app update or a notice on this site.

8. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from your use of the app, except for damages caused by the developer's intent or gross negligence.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the "Last updated" date on this page will be updated and the change will be announced through an app update or this site. Changes that are unfavorable to you will be announced at least 7 days before they take effect.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law rules.
